1. What is the gift certificate program?

The gift certificate program is a response to feedback from users of OlympicGetaways.Com interested in a gift certificate that would allow them to choose from many different lodging and adventure getaways. This program is aimed to reach 1st time guests and bring them to your business. Certificates will come in three denominations, $50, $100, and $200.

2. How do I redeem the gift certificates when/if they come in?

Once you have decided to participate in this program, we will send you a kit with instructions on how to redeem the certificates. OlympicGetaways.Com will reimburse you 80% of the value of each redeemed $50 certificate and 85% of the value of the $100 and $200 certificates. These charges will cover our cost of printing, promoting, selling, and administering the gift certificate program! This fee only applies when a visitor redeems a certificate at your business!

3. How will people know I'm a participant?

Our web site will allow visitors and certificate holders to search only for those properties that are participating in the gift certificate program. Your individual business will be entered into our database to show you accept OlympicGetaways.Com gift certificates. Additionally we hope to also provide you with a window decal and small placard to show your acceptance.

4. How will a traveler find/buy the gift certificates?

Purchasers will normally buy the certificates online, receiving the certificate in the mail shortly thereafter. The purchaser or recipient will have up to a year to redeem that certificate at any of the participating businesses on OlympicGetaways.Com.
Your business may be able to sell OlympicGetaways.Com Gift Certificates and earn a 5% commission on sales. Please inquire if interested.

5. What does it cost me?

There is no charge to participate in this program however if your business is a lodging or adventure type business, then you must be an advertiser on OlympicGetaways.Com. Your only cost to accept the certificates is the discount (listed in Item 2 above), when you redeem the certificate someone has used at your business.

6. Who is eligible?

Any lodging or adventure business advertising on OlympicGetaways.Com or any restaurant or other business deemed by OlympicGetaways.Com to be in the best interests of the visitors to the Olympic Peninsula. OlympicGetaways.Com, at its sole discretion, shall decide upon the appropriateness of each such business. Additionally, there may be a limit placed on the actual numbers of who may participate.

7. Do Gift Certificates expire?

Yes. Gift Certificates are valid for one year past the date of issue. However, Holders may order renewal certificates from OlympicGetaways.Com to extend the validation period for six months.
